Trombone Shorty ist einfach eine Rock Nummer mit einer Posaune in der Hand. Der Mann macht von vorne bis hinten Stimmung, schmeißt sich in den Saal, tanzt, lädt das Publikum zu sich ein. Die zwei Saxophone, die ihn unterstützen, sind mega virtuos — die Jungs gehen steil. Und der Rest der Band? Saucool. Einfach saucool.
„Here come the girls — and the party“ — und genau so war es. Fette Sause von Anfang bis Ende. Mega anstrengend. Mega geil. Trombone Shorty live, das ist nicht einfach nur Musik, das ist ein Party Erlebnis. Eine großartige Show war es auf jeden Fall.

Trombone Shorty is basically rock ’n‘ roll with a trombone in his hand. The man keeps the energy going from start to finish, throws himself into the crowd, dances, invites the audience to join him. The two saxophones backing him up are crazy virtuosic — those guys are on fire. And the rest of the band? Just cool. Simply cool.
