Es gibt Menschen, die betreten eine B\u00fchne und der Raum geh\u00f6rt ihnen. Joss Stone ist so eine. Wahnsinnige Erscheinung im losen Kleid, barfu\u00df nat\u00fcrlich, und die blonden Haare strahlen praktisch von selbst weit \u00fcber den Raum. Total beeindruckend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dann drei Superhits direkt zum Start und das ganze Publikum ist sofort am Start. Man sp\u00fcrt diese Hippie-Gelassenheit im Raum, alles ganz entspannt, und es ist einfach sch\u00f6n, da dabei zu sein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ob man die Songs kennt oder nicht ist dabei v\u00f6llig egal. Diese Stimme f\u00fcllt den Raum ganz allein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mein Lieblingsmoment: mitten im Konzert geht sie ins Publikum. In der ersten Reihe stehen zwei kleine M\u00e4dchen, mit denen singt sie zusammen ein paar Zeilen. Der Applaus f\u00fcr die M\u00e4dchen ist riesig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und sie holt ihre Leute nach vorne. Jede Backgrounds\u00e4ngerin und jeder Backgrounds\u00e4nger bekommt ein Solo, der Trompeter sowieso, und das war super beeindruckend. Dazu nimmt sie einen mit auf ihre Reise durch die Musik: sie erz\u00e4hlt, wie sie Songs im Kinderzimmer geschrieben hat, und probiert neue Nummern direkt am Publikum aus, um zu schauen, ob sie auf der B\u00fchne funktionieren. Verspielt sich dabei jemand, ist es auch egal. Eine richtig famili\u00e4re Atmosph\u00e4re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Zugabe gab es nat\u00fcrlich auch. Ein Warm-ums-Herz-Konzert, muss ich sagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich habe sie jetzt zum zweiten Mal gesehen und das war das deutlich bessere Konzert. Beim letzten Mal im Gasteig war der Sound echt schlecht. Das Publikum super gemischt, und das Tollwood hat einen guten Job geliefert: gute Mischung aus Sitz- und Stehpl\u00e4tzen, Sicht super.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danach noch \u00fcbers Tollwood schlendern, ein, zwei Bier. Hat richtig richtig Spa\u00df gemacht. Gerne nochmal<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some people walk onto a stage and the room is simply theirs. Joss Stone is one of them. What an appearance \u2014 loose dress, barefoot of course, and that blonde hair pretty much glowing all the way across the room. Seriously impressive.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then three of her big hits right at the start, and the whole crowd is in from the first second. You feel that hippie calm in the room, everything completely relaxed, and it’s just lovely to be part of it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you know the songs or not really doesn’t matter here. That voice fills the room all on its own.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favourite moment: halfway through the show she walks out into the crowd. Two little girls are standing in the front row and she sings a whole song together with them. The applause for that was huge.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And she pushes her own people to the front. Every single backing singer gets a solo, the trumpet player of course as well, and that one was super impressive. On top of that she takes you along on her journey through the music: she tells you how she wrote songs in her childhood bedroom, and tries new ones out on the crowd to see whether they actually work on stage. And if somebody plays a wrong note, nobody cares. A really family kind of atmosphere.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And of course there was an encore. A warm-your-heart concert, I have to say.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That was my second time seeing her and it was by far the better gig. Last time the sound was really bad. The crowd nicely mixed, and Tollwood did a good job: good mix of seating and standing, and the view was great.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards you stroll across the Tollwood grounds for a beer or two. That was really really fun. Happy to do it again<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n \t\t\n\t\t\t\t
