06. Mai 2011 – DEINE JUGEND und YOU SAY FRANCE I WHISTLE in concert<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This time I tried to find out how good I’m working with Photoshop and created these logos of the two bands I visitited yesterday evening. They played in the WERK II Leipzig. The first band was You Say France And I Whistle. It’s a great Indie Band from Stockholm Sweden. They play a nice mix of Pop with Keyboards and Guitar. The 3 singers were outstanding, Anne especially liked the female voice and her moves. People had a lot of fun with them and we enjoyed to hear such a nice unknown band. I have to stayed, that it wasn’t really crowded. Only about 50 people were at the concert and from all walks of life.<\/em><\/p>\n

The second band was DEINE JUGEND from Mannheim, Germany. They play a mix of Rap with hard electronical beats. It’s nice music if you want to dance at discos, partys…I don’t know if it has to go on stage\/tour. For me there wasn’t enough variety to put it there. A lot of songs sound the same and the soundcheck hasn’t been anything but foul. It was difficult to hear even the voice of the singer or to get a guess, why the drummer has been there. We left a bit earlier to get the tram….<\/em><\/p>\n

Gestern Abend waren wir kurz entschlossen nach der “Floorball U19 WM<\/a>” noch zu einem Konzert gegangen. DEINE JUGEND trat zur Kulturfabrik im Werk II auf. Auf der kleinen B\u00fchne dort sahen wir erst einmal eine Menge equipment und Kuscheltiere der Vorband. Diese mit Namen YOU SAY FRANCE & I WHISTLE konnte sich mit netten schwedischen Pop\/Rock Songs in unser Herz spielen. Uns gefielen sowohl der Spa\u00df, den die Band hatte und nat\u00fcrlich die Melodien. Sie hatten einigen Spa\u00df an der gro\u00dfen B\u00fchne, die ihnen wohl die letzten Tage nicht verg\u00f6nnt war. Am Besten gefiel Anne die S\u00e4ngerin\/Keyboarderin. Ihre Stimme war gleichzeitig eing\u00e4ngig und wundersch\u00f6n…Weiterhin hat sie das gesamte Konzert wahnsinnig lustige Sachen mit ihren H\u00e4nden gemacht…gro\u00dfer Spa\u00df.<\/p>\n

Als n\u00e4chstes kam eine Umbaupause, in der das gesamte equipment wegger\u00e4umt werden musste. DEINE JUGEND brauchten anscheinend keines, au\u00dfer ihrer kleinen “Zicke”, dem Drumcomputer. Weiterhin waren noch eine E-Guitarre und ein Schlagzeug und nat\u00fcrlich S\u00e4ngerin Laura auf der B\u00fchne. Was man von DEINE JUGEND zuerst sp\u00fcrt, ist ein Mark und Bein durchdringender Bass, dessen Luftzug einen denken l\u00e4sst, jemand h\u00e4tte die Hallent\u00fcr offen stehen gelassen. Kaum weggefegt von diesem Bass st\u00fcrzen wir uns ins Elektro-Pop-Rap Abenteuer.<\/p>\n

Bei DEINE JUGEND muss man vor allem bemerken, wie ungemein tanzbar diese Gruppe ist! Eigentlich geh\u00f6rt ein Song von ihnen auf jeden Floor. Allerdings hat mir daf\u00fcr live ein wenig Performance gefehlt. Ein sch\u00f6nes Kleid und einige “Macht Platz da” k\u00f6nnen eine B\u00fchnenshow nicht unbedingt retten. Der Stimmung der wenigen extra “ausm Harz” angereisten Fans tag dies keinen Abbruch!<\/p>\n

Ich muss allerdings bemerken, dass diese Gruppe wohl einfach nicht in mein musikgeschmackliches Repertoir passt und ich mich deshalt in der ersten Zugabe schon verkr\u00fcmelte. Ich kann allerdings jedem empfehlen sich den Sound einmal anzuh\u00f6ren und bei der n\u00e4chsten Tour dabei zu sein. So junge deutsche K\u00fcnstler brauchen auf jeden Fall noch mehr Support!<\/p>\n
